" At least 30% of primary care consultations are related to musculoskeletal disorders. With an aging population, sedentary lifestyles and the obesity epidemic, this level is expected to rise even further. The conditions seen represent a spectrum, including issues in rheumatology, orthopaedic, metabolic bone and sports medicine. " [Addenbrooke's Post Graduate Medical Centre 2010]
