This exciting collaborative conference between the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) focuses on practical management of the shoulder in sports. Keynote speakers include Dr Delva Shamley who will explore kinematics and rehabilitation of the shoulder, Dr Jeremy Lewis who will speak about subacromial impingement syndrome and Dr Joanna Bowtell who will explain her research investigating targeted and whole body vibration on sports performance.

The CPD Osteopathic Seminar

Abstract: The workshop examines the anatomy and gravity stabilising role of the sacro-iliac joint, pain producing mechanisms, L5-S1 intervertebral junction and the lower extremity, the context of diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the osteopathic treatment care plan. To be an effective osteopathic clinician, a recent research study (2010) has enhanced the positioning, evidence base and efficacy of specific osteopathic interventions. Others offer a less favourable outcome.
